This week in Years 1 and 2, we launched our exciting new topic: 'Our Local Area'! The children have been busy exploring maps and even created their very own maps of the school, complete with a key showing trees, picnic areas, parking, and toilets. Next week, we'll be zooming out to look at the physical and human features of the wider area and making some even bigger maps too!
